Slide Music is the most beautiful way of communication

about me

I was born in 1977 and entered the world of DJing in 1993 at the age of only 16 years. I combined several sounds into cross-genre mixes and was immediately on the radar of the dance music family tree, and the Stuttgart born boy began to show what he was made of. Influenced by bands like Depeche Mode, New Order, Ultravox and Kraftwerk, my main interest was in bands and artists who pioneered the sound of electronic music from the very beginning.

My first foray into music production came with musical insights I gained at a local radio station where I created jingles in my formative years. My love for djing and finding new music led me into the relatively new techno scene. Celvin X became an outsider in the growing industry and founded the event agency “Boom The House”, which later hosted parties like “Visions of Love” and “Go to the Sun”. Behind the decks I tore up events like TentBase and Titanic and also performed in clubs like Modem, CuBase and Krypton.

Before the turn of the millennium I found myself as the manager of the Tunnel Club in Gosheim and spent two years in the radio show “Party Power Zone” of the Lithuanian station Power Hit Radio. All these commitments within and outside of music led to my decision to take time for my DJ career to fully immerse myself in my professional and private projects.

I am looking forward to touring again and released a number of EPs on the occasion of my comeback – the first of which was released in early 2018 on the renowned label Naked Lunch Records. With further releases on Naked Lunch and other labels, including Amigos, I am really alive and ready to pick up where I left off.

I am aware of the changes the digital industry has undergone in terms of DJing and production as well as music as a whole, and I look forward to breaking new ground with my forward-thinking, bass-driven music from around the world and refreshing the ears of listeners around the globe. You will surely find me soon with my eclectic variety of melodies at festivals, events and online. I’m back, and in a serious way.
